We were camping at the Nossob Campground in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park when a dangerous visitor appeared: a large Cape Cobra. It hunted around the Cape Ground Squirrel burrows just yards from our tent until a Ground Squirrel showed up to confront it.
The snake struck and missed but the squirrel didn’t back down. Watch the video to find out who was the unexpected winner of this confrontation!
The moral of the story: never approach venomous snakes, especially in a speedo.
